Job Description
JD for Sourcing and Business Manager
Role: Sourcing Warehousing International Business Development (Level TBD)
Reports to: Business Head
Location: Bengaluru

Deliverables:
Create and own Private Brand business strategy. Work with external and internal partners to ensure
we achieve the same.
Strong knowledge in Warehousing business.
Knowledge of International Markets.
Own the sourcing of the products completely from spec sheets quality (with assistance of outsourced
QC team) costing and MOQ
Own PO raising and supply timelines and all processes to ensure timely supplies
Own P&L and ensure sales pricing inventory are in line with strategy
Constantly evolve our Selection and list of suppliers looking for better quality and better costing
Constantly evolve understanding of Customers & Category Knowledge and plug back into P&L decision
making
Establish & maintain strong vendor partnerships and improve the vendor experience. Engage regularly
with vendors including inperson meetings weekly/monthly reviews
Plan for events & promotions including getting support from suppliers
Evaluate longterm growth opportunities identify risks and communicate & partner with internal &
cross functional teams
Help the Category Manager in recruiting and developing the team
Must Have:
Strong Sourcing Experience is a must. Experience in sourcing Sports Furniture/Home or Kitchen (esp
Dinnerware tableware drinkware and kitchen containers) is a Plus
Experience of one or more of these roles retail buying retail planning & allocation product
management project management pricing and marketing is important
Strong analytical capability (proficiency in excel); Sharp understanding of sales data analytics and levers
for sales enablement
Strong Negotiating and influencing skills excellent business judgement
Proven experience of delivering cross functional projects
Proven experience of being able to Work autonomously in a high paced environment with a willingness
to roll up sleeves to get the work done
Good to Have:
Having worked in ecomm industry is a Plus.
Having worked in an entrepreneurial environment is a Plus.
Amazon ecosystem and knowing their ways of working and terminology is a Plus.
Being technologically savvy with respect to working on softwares for inventory tracking/management
is a Plus
Experience of imports and comfort with negotiating with foreign businesses shippers and CHA
Experience of working with import aggregators
