Location

This role will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While youll enjoy the flexibility of remote work we also love to see our colleagues facetoface! We ask you to join us at our San Francisco office for 23 days a week for team collaboration and some fun. Its a chance to connect share ideas and maybe even grab some coffee together!

About the Role

Were looking for a talented Technical Program Manager to manage and implement security programs for the broader Engineering team. You will work closely with senior leadership across the engineering organization in order to strengthen security programs and systems while also reducing security risk for all aspects of doing business at Opendoor.

What Youll Do

  • Build and lead strategic technical programs for the Security team
  • Prioritize key technical initiatives and features to enforce security policies
  • Partner with Engineering to educate the organization on the security risks of their design and implementation
  • Drive clarity and structure in ambiguous situations by asking the right questions and applying insights youve gained
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to drive remediation for identified vulnerabilities within established timeframes.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program.
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and improvement of vulnerability management processes.
  • Conduct regular audits of user access permissions to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to identify and address access control issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop processes and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with SOX UAR requirements.
  • Manage diverse relationships with Engineering Product and Operations stakeholders to execute on operational recommendations
  • Drive crossteam initiatives to bolster Opendoors overall security posture
  • Participate in quarterly and annual planning for the Security team

What Youll Need

  • 4 years as a TPM engineering or product leader
  • Experience working across multiple functions/ business units influencing and collaborating with others to successfully drive programs
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners and product management to define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions
  • Experience building roadmaps project/release plans with a strong understanding of dependency management
  • Experience using a consulting approach to identify and build business strategy
  • Experience with PCI SOC 2 SOX and ISO27001 compliances

Bonus If You Have

  • Management consulting experience a big plus.
  • MBA/MS or equivalent with specialization in marketing finance mathematics business or related field of study.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The U.S. pay range for this positionis$142400.00 $178000.00 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications jobrelated knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
