Job Description
Eatons IS AER FED is currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector. This position is based out of our Glenolden PA facility.
Core hours for this position are 7am3:30pm.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.00 per hour.

What youll do:
Performs verification inspection of Eatons suppliers detailed components and verification inspection of Eatons product for compliance to customers requirements while assistiing customer source inspectors as required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement equipment
Thorough knowledge of measurement systems techniques including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Familiarity with the requirements of ISO9001 and AS9100
Ability to interact with coworkers and customer representative
Perform verification inspection of Eatons suppliers detailed components
Performs verification inspection of Eatons product for compliance to customers requirements
Assist customer source inspectors as required
Coordinate Measurement Machine use programming ability is preferred but not required
Surface plate layout
Basic computer skills
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED from accredited institution
Minimum of two 2 years experience in manufacturing and/or military environment
Minimum of two 2 years experience reading and interpreting blueprints
Ability to use precision measurement equipment such as micrometers calipers comparator thread gauge etc.
Reside within 50 miles of location (no relocation)
US person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) Political Asylee or Refugee
This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to random testing under our Drug and Alcohol Abatement program
Skills:
Needs to work well under pressure
Flexibility to work overtime when required
Technical Degree
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Inspection equipment programming experience
Ability to operate CMM
