Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bismarck ND (Onsite)
Job Description:
- Use of CAD and PLM tools to carry out tasks requiring the creation assembly analysis modification and integration of product designs for various systems and components including engine cooling hydraulics castings light and heavy fabricated structures and other mechanical systems and subsystems.
- Solve complicated technical engineering problems build difficulties deviations and solutions work together with system/ vehicle engineers.
- Thorough analysis of components/sub-system/ assembly design and add value by bringing down the cost and improving efficiency.
- Address problems including build and field failures collaborating with various CFTs.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide preventative and remedial measures.
- Provide status and progress updates in design review meetings clarify requirements and contribute to discussions. Make sure design tasks are completed by the design freeze deadlines specified in the project plan.
- Make design creation and analysis easier with tools and techniques including bolted joint analysis FMEA DVP&R Six Sigma and APQP.
- Lead and help the detailing team with drawing markup creation drawing checks and setting priorities for drawing detailing.
- Assemble and provide materials for meetings involving design reviews.
- Mechanical Engineer with min. 5 years experience in Creo modeling and detailing with windchill.
- Experience in design of large weldments structures.
- Preferred to have good understanding on hyd. routings hyd. components hose sizing and selection.
- Good understanding of functionalities of farm and construction equipments
Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineer with min. 5 years experience in Creo modeling and detailing with windchill.
- Experience in design of large weldments structures.
- Experience in vehicle integration.
- Preferred to have good understanding on hyd. routings hyd. components hose sizing and selection.
- Good understanding of functionalities of farm and construction equipments.
