Heres how aField Coordinatorfor our Saskatoonoffice contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Assists with updating drawings and specifications
- Coordinates inventory and tracking time sheets costs and quantities
- Prepares quantity takeoffs
- Assists in creating implementing and monitoring the quality plan including conducting quality inspections and identifying issues onsite and in work scopes
- Conducts basic safety inspections and training identifying and correcting safety hazards attending daily safety meetings and leading by example in safety practices and procedures
- Assists the project team with subtrade partner management including managing requests for information shop drawings changes and billings and overseeing work by providing daytoday direction
- Supports superintendent project manager and project coordinator on self perform scopes and workforce planning
- Assists with schedules and monitoring performance
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in engineering construction management architecture trade or a related field
- 23 years of progressive experience as field coordinator is preferred
- Ability to understand and apply basic construction principles specifications and procedures
- Proven ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology
- Excitement for potential relocation and temporary out of town project assignments
