Job Title: Director of Sales Fairfield Inn Plainville CT

Location: Connecticut USA

About Us:

Blue Sky Hospitality is a leading hospitality management company dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences across our portfolio of hotels. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts at our Fairfield Inn property in Connecticut.

Job Summary:

As the Director of Sales for Fairfield Inn property in Connecticut you will be responsible for driving revenue growth developing strategic sales plans and leading a highperforming sales team. You will work closely with hotel General Managers corporate leadership and external partners to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Fairfield Inn property in Connecticut.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients travel agencies and other key stakeholders to drive business.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with hotel General Managers to ensure alignment between sales and operational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Stay informed about competitors activities and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the hospitality industry preferably with experience in the Connecticut market.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and close deals with clients.
  • Strategic thinker with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within Connecticut and occasionally beyond for business purposes.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
