Job Description

cFocus Software seeks an IT Technical Writer to join our program supporting Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC). This position is remote. This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications:
  • 7 years experience developing IT presentation material for technical information (cybersecurity)
  • 10 years experience working collaboratively with senior and support IT personnel
  • 10 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Word PowerPoint Excel Visio and Forms
  • Sound foundation in grammar punctuation and use of the English language with emphasis on producing clear direct prose.
  • Bachelors degree in English communications journalism or a related field required.
  • Additional education or certifications (e.g. Network Security CISSP) in IT/Information Security preferred.
Duties:
  • Develop newsletters highlighting weekly vulnerability and patching activity.
  • Develop guides for how to utilize certain technologies.
  • Draft review and edit IT presentation material.
  • Generate feedback forms using tools such as Microsoft Forms.
  • Provide written recommendations on Government drafts of executive summaries and briefings.
  • Provide recommendations and input into other content and presentations.
