Job Description
Position: IT Developer
Location: Washington DC 20515 (On-site)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Min Level of Clearance: Active Public Trust
Job Requirements:
- Strong skills developing application and backend services using C# MVC Web API Java Script jQuery and CSS Cloud AWS SQL GitHub Enterprise
- Experience in automating tasks using scripted languages such as Bash PowerShell or Perl
- Developing and maintaining web services; experience with MVC WCF and Web APIs preferable
- Experience designing and maintaining user interfaces (UI) with HTML JavaScript CSS; experience working with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery Bootstrap preferable; UI Ajax.
- Experience developing and maintaining data in relational databases; heavy SQL experience with Stored Procedures Functions performance tuning is required.
- Proficiency in building web applications using Core including experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture. Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Core Web API. Understanding of Core middleware and the ability to implement custom middleware. Knowledge of dependency injection principles and practices in Core. Familiarity with Core security features including authentication authorization and data protection. Proficiency in using Razor syntax for dynamic content generation in views.
- Proficiency in using jQuery for DOM traversal and manipulation
- Experience with jQuery event handling for creating interactive user interfaces. Expertise in making asynchronous HTTP requests using jQuerys AJAX methods and in integrating and customizing jQuery plugins for various functionalities
- Experience in developing responsive web applications using Bootstrap
- Proficiency in using Bootstraps grid system for layout design.
- Knowledge of Bootstrap components (modals carousels navbars etc.) and customization techniques. Ability to customize Bootstrap themes using CSS and SASS.
- Other tasks as assigned in support of operational needs.
Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in an IT-related field
