Do you have experience in Outside Plant construction Are you seeking a longterm home to build your career within the telecom industry TekCom Resources is seeking a fieldbased Construction Coordinatorfor a direct hire role with a fastgrowing telecom construction firm in Fremont Ohio!
In this role you will be responsible for coordination of several OSP construction projects; this will include QC on work performed preproject prep work and some postproject wrapup work. Visiting field sites to observe work being performed is an essential element of this role. Work is being performed in and around the Fremont area and your work will not take you more than 12 hours outside of town.
While not required experience with coax/HFC construction work is HIGHLY valuable for this role!Work will be supporting a major nationally active broadband service provider.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control on work being performed and ensure crew compliance with company standards.
- Work with other members of the team on ensuring adherence to progress schedule occasionally passing information along to management or clients.
- Tracking a range of administrative concerns and functions: contractor invoicing equipment and supplies availability progress documentation etc.
- Make sure crews are following internal and external safety protocols while performing construction work.
- Communicate with other team members and departments in seeing projects through to completion.
- 13 years of experience assisting on construction projects for telecom or utilities companies; at least 6 months of specificOSP construction experience is necessary!
- Experience assisting with or managing project tracking financials both internal and contracted crews and other functions.
- Experience and comfort communicating with clients and management regarding progress milestones.
- A willingness to work both from their office in Fremont and job sites in and around Fremont this will not be a remote role.
- Company Truck and Gas Card will be provided
