About the role

As a Product Specialist (Passenger Cars) your primary responsibility will be to support the localization of our passenger vehicle portfolio in the Romania Bulgaria Moldova Balkan market and other regions designated by the Product Manager. You will work closely with the Product Manager for Romania Bulgaria Moldova Balkan and collaborate with product sales marketing and R&D teams in Europe and China to advance localization efforts. You will play a key role in gathering and analyzing market trends policy changes competitor dynamics and user or partner expectations.

You will be part of the European Product Department focusing on market customer policy and regulation research as well as competitor analysis. Our goal is to develop a comprehensive product strategy aligned with our vision and objectives. Your role will be critical in ensuring the successful launch and deployment of products.

As a member of the European Product Department the Product Specialist (Passenger Vehicles) will report directly to the Product Manager for Romania Bulgaria Moldova Balkan.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the positioning and launch of relevant BYD models
  • Work closely with BYD HQ and EU team; creating product and pricing proposals and managing feedback
  • Ensure availability and accuracy of all appropriate product data sources (including technical data) and price lists to Retailers including both internal and customerfacing materials and sources
  • Regularly assess and report on competitor and new entrant market positioning and activities
  • Provides adhoc reporting and analysis as requested by line manager
  • Responsible for product registration and manage COC request
  • Support the test drive of marketing activities

Your Profile:

  • High level of attention to detail analytical approach with process orientation
  • Ability to work on own initiative demonstrating ownership while being a team player
  • Strong organization skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication written verbal interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking: Approach project thinking strategically while ensuring the operational details are on point
  • Numerical and analytical with demonstrable attention to detail
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
  • Full Drivers license
  • Bachelors degree
  • Proven ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority
  • Chinese speaking will be a plus.
