About the Role
An Outstanding boys school in Brent is looking for a knowledgeable History Teacher to join their humanities department from September. You will deliver engaging history lessons to Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons covering various historical periods and events.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Develop students understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead historyrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.
- Proven experience teaching history at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
