Job Description
About the role:
An Outstanding boys school in Brent is seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join their modern foreign language department from September. The successful candidate will be able to teach Spanish to key stages 3 to 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish Teacher lessons covering grammar vocabulary and cultural topics.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students language skills and intercultural understanding.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Spanish curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead Spanish related extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with a specialism in Spanish.
- Proven experience in teaching Spanish at secondary level.
- Strong language skills and a passion for Spanish language and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
