Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is searching for a Front Office Supervisor to join the team.

The coastal retreat with breathtaking views is situated along the beautiful Torrey Pines Golf Course overlooking the sunny shores of La Jolla. The property boasts almost 40000 square feet of event space 2 food and beverage offerings and 394 guest rooms.

  • Classification: Full Time
  • Shifts: Full Availability must be able to work mornings evenings weekends and holidays
  • The hourly rate: $22.25 to $22.25

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience
  • At least two years of experience in a hotel front desk role
  • Proficiency in OnQ
  • Availability to work mornings evenings weekends and holidays

What will I be doing

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assigning work training our Guest Service Agents and ensuring the completion of daily tasks in Front Office operations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

  • Assign work and supervise team member performance in all Front Office procedures including but not limited to guest checkin and checkout lobby traffic and flow luggage assistance telephone operator services and determining room rates and availability.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely friendly and efficient manner.
  • Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints.
  • Schedule assign daily work lead preshift meetings inform and train team members.
  • Monitor observe and assist in evaluating team member performance.
  • Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing accordingly.
