Job Description

Underwriting Assistant Casualty and Financial Lines

Stockholm Sweden

Our Middle Office team in Stockholm is the operational center of our Nordic business supporting our underwriting teams and external stakeholders such as brokers and clients and continuously improving operational processes.

We are currently seeking an Underwriting Assistant for Casualty & Financial Lines to join the Middle Office team with responsibility for supporting the effective underwriting of our business lines.

What will your essential responsibilities include

You will ensure that the administrative pre and postbind processes are run efficiently and bring highquality service to internal and external clients and colleagues through for example:

Accurate efficient processing of complex global program and nonprogram accounts always in compliance with our policies.

Implementation of new/renewed accounts (and midterm validations where applicable) including controlling and monitoring issue of documents system entering premium collection Reinsurance ceding

Efficient and professional interaction with various internal stakeholders such as Underwriting Claims Accounting our network and offshore support teams as well as external stakeholders such as clients and brokers

You will report to the Nordic Middle Office Team Leader Casualty & Financial Lines.

SHARE your talent

Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

IT literacy Microsoft Office package literacy as a minimum

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and preferably Swedish Norwegian or Danish

Previous experience in an underwriting support position preferably from global program business

Knowledge of at least one of our core business lines (Casualty & Financial Lines)

Welldeveloped social skills ability to communicate and network with people on all levels

Proactive approach and attention to detail
