Job Description
Are you an experienced project professional with a strong background in ICT logistics and governance We are seeking aSenior Project Officer to join our Federal government client focused on National security to play a crucial role in the efficient delivery of sustainment and deployment projects in IT Services Delivery. This role is based in Canberra ACT and is a 12 month contract with extension options available. Applicants must possess a current TSPV clearance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement:Liaise with site stakeholders including customers and suppliers to ensure ICT Service Delivery requirements are met.
- Logistics Coordination:Arrange travel and freight for sustainment and projects including preparing equipment for shipping.
- Procurement Management:Plan initiate and manage procurements to support program and organizational requirements. Schedule procurement activities to meet deadlines.
- Governance Documentation:Draft and review governance and asset management policy documentation.
- Asset Management:Maintain ICT asset records and plan and execute stocktaking activities.
- Supply Chain Development:Develop logistics supply chains in line with organizational policy and customer requirements.
- Problem Solving:Identify supply chain shortfalls and develop rectification proposals for review approval and implementation.
- Continuous Improvement:Contribute to the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in integrated logistic principles and the ability to quickly understand the sustainment of Defence capabilities.
- Proficiency in utilising inventory management systems.
