Litigation Paralegal Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice
Location: Washington D.C. (Hybrid 4 days onsite 1 day remote)
Salary: Starting at $80000
We are partnering with a wellestablished law firm in Washington D.C. to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in personal injury or medical malpractice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a toptier legal team and play a key role in highimpact cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive case management support throughout all phases of litigation.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation including organizing exhibits drafting pleadings and managing discovery.
- Conduct legal research summarize medical records and prepare caserelated documents.
- Draft correspondence motions and legal memoranda.
- Maintain case files track deadlines and coordinate filings in both state and federal courts.
- Communicate with clients witnesses and experts to gather and organize key case information.
- Track and enter billable hours in accordance with firm policies.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of litigation experience in personal injury or medical malpractice.
- Strong knowledge of court procedures electronic filing systems and legal research tools.
- Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records and legal documents.
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with billable hour requirements and timekeeping.
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus.
