Your Team & Role
As an Infrastructure Developer in the End User Experience Engineering department you will partner with product owners tech leads designers software engineers and delivery professionals to manage Windows clients and mobile devices. We are looking for person with at least 1 to 5 years of experience working within Microsoft Intune to manage our Mobile and Windows devices. You will develop software and automated solutions to manage the lifecycle of infrastructure services as we solve sophisticated business problems deploy innovative products services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to applied technical understanding and knowledge you will bring excellent problem solving communication and teamwork skills along with agile ways of working strong business insight an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills and some experience with managing devices in a corporate environment.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Management of modern workplace management tools such as Microsoft Intune for both mobile and Windows devices.
Device Management of Windows MacOS and mobile devices at a global scale.
Create code and support solutions to automate the build management or destruction of infrastructure with guidance.
Identify opportunities to automate functions that are currently manual and then code solutions to automate those functions.
Accelerate application development by building patterns of infrastructure services that are consumed selfservice are resilient reliant and in accordance with Prudential standards.
Collaborate with Technical Leads and Product Owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories and technical design and collaborate with other team members to understand the system to deliver robust solutions that bring about business impactand support the goals.
Keep up with current with relevant and emerging technologies. Determine how these new technologies can be incorporated into our environment.
Apply infrastructure fundamentals in regard to iOS Android Windows and Mac client OS server operating systems database network and TCP/IP and common communication protocols.
Use programming languages including Python Powershell and/or other modern languages.
Use of infrastructureascode and automation software tools such as Ansible Microsoft Power Automate and/or Terraform frameworks.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
We are seeking an Infrastructure Developer in our End User Experience department. This position will be responsible for client device management of Mobile and Windows devices using Intune and other technologies.
Skills required
Bachelor of Information Technology Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields.
Leverage diverse ideas experiences thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
Experience with agile development methodologies and TestDriven Development (TDD)
Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through selfinitiative and tackling challenges
Good troubleshooting skills to be able to solve companywide client issues and the ability to work independently on working though such issues.
Have 1 to 5 years experience will all or some of the following Microsoft Intune and Entra functions:
o Creation and management of Intune Configuration Profiles for both mobile and Windows device management.
o Managing security baselines Endpoint Security policies and Intune Compliance policies to meet organizational security standards.
o Experience with device enrollment configurations.
o Familiarity with auto provisioning of Windows devices using Autopilot.
o Experience resolving issues related to Conditional Access.
o Working with users and devices within EntraID (AzureAD).
o Configuration of Microsoft Entra application proxies.
Ability to manage infrastructure through development and automation using tools such as Powershell Python Terraform Ansible Power Automate GitHub Actions and/or Nexthink.
Strong troubleshooting skills needed to independently resolve production issues on a global scale.
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through selfinitiative and tackling challenges and keep up with emerging technologies.
Ability to work on assigned tasks independently as well as part of a team.
Good Knowledge of working with Windows MacOS iOS and Android client operating systems.
Automation skills in Microsoft Power Automate Ansible Terraform and/or GitHub Actions.
Cloud Computing: Understanding and knowledge of AWS and Azure
Knowledge of SCCM (Configuration Manager) for Windows client devices is a plus.
Knowledge of JAMF for MacOS client devices is a plus.
AZ900 MD102 PL900 and other Microsoft related certifications are a plus.
