This is a remote position.
Our SAP ERP consulting firm is seeking a talented Data Governance Architect to join our dynamic team.Main Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a data governance strategy for our clients using SAP ERP
- Develop data management policies standards and procedures aligned with industry best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and design appropriate solutions
- Create and maintain data models data dictionaries and metadata for SAP ERP systems
- Ensure data quality security and compliance in the SAP environment
- Lead data quality improvement initiatives and sensitive data protection efforts
- Define data governance roles and responsibilities within client organizations
- Provide technical expertise on SAP data architecture and governance best practices
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture with a specialization in data governance
- Indepth knowledge of SAP ERP systems and their data architecture
- Experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks
- Excellent understanding of data modelling and metadata principles
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- Bilingual in French and English both oral and written
Assets:
- Relevant certifications in data governance or SAP
- Experience in the consulting sector
- Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR)
