Your opportunity

The Health Management Coordinator is a key role within the SHES function responsible for the implement of the health monitoring program including preemployment and ongoing medicals / health monitoring across the company. You will manage key medical services through contract management and provide expert technical advice and coaching to stakeholders on health risks whilst supporting the establishment of health management processes for projects and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Additional accountabilities include;

  • Provide guidance on appropriate interventions and accommodations to support employees health and productivity including health management plans.
  • Flag adverse health findings with relevant functional leaders and where appropriate implement a health management plan to ensure the worker can safely continue to work.
  • Support business unit and project/s to manage flow of work including upcoming and overdue medical assessment actions.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to appropriately identify personal health conditions that require a health management plan consistent with requirements of the SEG or job role
  • Interpret health management plan requirements to provide recommendations regarding a workers fitness for duty to workplace managers and functional leaders

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelors degree in allied health Nursing (Occupational Health) or related field with current AHPRA registration required.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology health assessment techniques and occupational health and hygiene and privacy legislation.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in database management and use of relevant software applications.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Strong attention to detail yet ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

This role supports the CPB Contractors business across Australia New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and will be based in either Sydney or Brisbane.
