The Technology Team at Frontier are responsible for enabling revenue generation improving excellence driving innovation and reducing risk across all of our UK and European offices. The team is made up of three distinct functions that focus on building partnerships in the areas of experience cyber security and business technology.
The Technology Development Lead plays a key role in enhancing technology and security by developing and improving critical business infrastructure and solutions. This role focuses on ensuring that data software and integrations are robust scalable and secure.
This position requires both strong technical expertise while fostering collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can turn challenges into opportunities and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
As a Technology Development Lead you will develop and implement cuttingedge solutions that integrate advanced tools such as Microsoft Fabric REST APIs Power Platform and R Studio while leveraging platforms like SQL and Excel. You will lead APIbased automation and data integration efforts to streamline workflows simplify technical landscapes and improve management information through dynamic dashboards.
Technology Development & Security:
Develop and enhance businesscritical technology solutions ensuring security scalability and efficiency.
Ensure best practices in software development data security and system integrations are upheld.
Identify and mitigate risks related to technology development ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
Collaboration and Process Improvement:
Collaborate with the Technology Development Manager and Partnership teams to implement solutions that align with business objectives.
Work closely with internal teams to improve workflows automation and development processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
Support crossfunctional collaboration to ensure technology solutions align with operational needs.
Leadership and Mentoring:
Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Support the professional growth of team members through coaching and technical leadership.
Lead by example in problemsolving technical excellence and strategic thinking.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Collaborate with leadership and other teams to drive technology initiatives forward.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages architectures such as Azure and quality assurance practices.
Utilise APIs to connect platforms such as Microsoft Fabric Power Automate and SQL Server for seamless data exchange and process automation.
Write advanced SQL queries for database management optimise performance and integrate SQL databases with R Studio or Excel for analytics workflows.
Build lowcode apps and automations using Power Apps and Power Automate while integrating them with cloud based platforms such as Microsoft Fabric for streamlined processes.
Understanding of ERP CRMs and finance systems such as Workday (HCM and Finance) Workbooks SAGE and SAP.
