Job Description
A large company in Brooklyn is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and implement the companys technology vision ensuring a sustainable and scalable technical foundation. This role requires a handson leader with deep architectural knowledge a strong software development background and the ability to balance strategic planning with technical .
Responsibilities Include:
- Architect and manage technical infrastructure designing scalable systems for longterm sustainability.
- Establish best practices for code quality system architecture and testing to ensure software reliability.
- Oversee the integration of legacy systems with new technologies and thirdparty platforms.
- Balance highlevel technical planning with handson coding and problemsolving.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure maintainable highquality code.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Optimize resource allocation across development projects.
- Provide accurate time and complexity estimations for project planning.
- Represent the development team in key project meetings ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Assist in recruitment and hiring attracting top talent for the department.
- Mentor and foster a collaborative highperformance technical team.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 8 years of software development experience with a proven track record of leading longterm projects.
- Deep architectural expertise in designing scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in .NET Core Angular 5 MS SQL Git and Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience with DevOps microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problemsolving system design and CI/CD implementation skills.
- Ability to work handson with developers while maintaining a strategic vision.
- Experience in mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.
