Job Description
Job Summary (Solution Architect - Investment Technology & Data):
- Lead and manage implementation or product management for front office investment technology platforms (e.g. Blackrock Aladdin Charles River IMS Bloomberg AIM Markit ThinkFolio FIS Front Arena) with at least 8 years of experience.
- Utilize strong proficiency in SQL database management and cloud data platforms (Snowflake Databricks AWS).
- Apply expertise in data modeling governance and data quality management within investment technology environments.
- Demonstrate understanding of portfolio management and trading processes for asset managers/owners across equity fixed income and listed derivatives.
- Specialize in at least two investment operations areas (e.g. Risk & Performance Compliance Client Reporting Derivatives Management Operations & Settlements Vehicle Setup & Structuring Data Management) with 5 years experience in each.
- Lead and mentor small to medium-sized teams in implementation or consulting projects.
- Willing to travel as required by project/client needs.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving detail orientation and solution delivery capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams showcasing excellent interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset and commercial awareness in project delivery.
- Possess or pursue relevant industry certifications (CFA CAIA FINRA Series 7 etc.).
- Adapt to and appreciate regional business cultures and practices.
