Job Description:
Summary
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Recruitment Office is looking for a Student Recruiter II to join the Colleges recruitment team. This role supports the team in outreach recruitment and yield activities for prospective transfer undergraduate students. Engaging with community colleges in Iowa Illinois and Minnesota this position focuses on effective recruitment programs through participation in campus visit and recruitment events. This position also uses strong communication and technical skills to lead sessions during transfer visit days assist with transfer orientation supervise LAS Transfer Student Ambassadors and manage recruitment data using a CRM system.
Example of Duties
Recruits prospective students from community colleges.
Plans events including student open houses visits tours and offsite receptions.
Travels and gives presentations about the university to student groups.
Participates in the review and evaluation of candidates.
Counsels students and parents regarding the admissions process.
Serves as school ambassador to outside groups.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
