In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design debug finetune and optimize FPGA based designs and firmware for power electronics realtime control realtime networking measurements etc.
- Write documentation tooling and tests for your designs
- Deploy and verify the firmware on hardware prototypes;
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with software hardware and firmware engineers
You are highly organized work in a structured manner and are committed to delivering high quality work. You are an excellent problem solver and can think outside of the box. You have a growth mindset and want to expand on your skills also in adjacent domains. You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
- Master degree in Microelectronics Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
- 35 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in VHDL and experience using Intel and/or Xilinx toolchains
- Experience working with analog electronics ability to read schematics and use electronic lab equipment (e.g. scopes)
- Ability to read and understand embedded software code
- Strong coding skills with a focus on writing clean maintainable code along with related tests documentation and packaging
- Good communication skills in English and German* *Only applicable for candidates for Rosenheim)
- Experience with power electronics and/or high voltage equipment;
- Experience with simulation and automated test
- Experience with IP integrator
- Experience with control theory and/or digital filtering
