Based in Rosenheim Germany or Leuven Belgium as a Digital Design Engineer you will have the opportunity to be part of a global and culturally diverse organization that offers equal opportunities in an inclusive environment!

Our systems combine cuttingedge modular hardware and software including power electronic actuators and sensors FPGA and CPUbased realtime computing networking and modelbased engineering toolchains. In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Design debug finetune and optimize FPGA based designs and firmware for power electronics realtime control realtime networking measurements etc.
  • Write documentation tooling and tests for your designs
  • Deploy and verify the firmware on hardware prototypes;
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with software hardware and firmware engineers

You have a growth mindset and want to expand on your skills also in adjacent domains. You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and stakeholders. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Master degree in Microelectronics Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
  • 35 years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in VHDL and experience using Intel and/or Xilinx toolchains
  • Experience working with analog electronics ability to read schematics and use electronic lab equipment (e.g. scopes)
  • Ability to read and understand embedded software code
  • Strong coding skills with a focus on writing clean maintainable code along with related tests documentation and packaging
  • Good communication skills in English and German* *Only applicable for candidates for Rosenheim)
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Experience with power electronics and/or high voltage equipment;
  • Experience with simulation and automated test
  • Experience with IP integrator
  • Experience with control theory and/or digital filtering
