Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Disability Support Services Student Worker Law School Scribe

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Deans Office and DSS are looking to hire a 2L or 3L student for approximately 1015 hours per week at a rate of $18/hour to assist a student who is blind with the following tasks. Hours and scheduling will be determined between the selected candidate(s) and the student:

Help locating pincite page numbers before every writing assignment due date

Help completing Core Grammar exercises over the course of the semester

Help completing Interactive Citation Workstation exercises over the course of the semester

Help during some Lawyering classes when we do guided research in class if schedule permits course is: M/W 1:30pm3pm

Possibly help doing research on the Lexis and Westlaw platforms

Scribe duties during the Lawyering Final Exam if schedule permits exam date 11/22/24.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Only Seton Hall Students registered for classes forshould apply. No prior experience necessary.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be outgoing friendly and polite.
