Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing is looking for an Associate Procurement Analyst (Level 2 for our Dallas TX. facility. The Procurement Analyst will be an integral member of the Post Award Team. Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance. Consults with internal and external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Optimizes of the supply chain balancing inventory supply orders and schedule demand.
Manages performance and supplier/subcontractor relationships to ensure delivery quality financial stability and inservice performance.
Deploys operating authority to improve product delivery and quality performance.
Mitigates risks and issues.
Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement
Ability to travel 10 of the time.
Microsoft office suite proficiency
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher preferred.
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
4 years experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 4 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
