We are looking for a highly motivated Internto join our Bioinformatics team!

We are an NGS applications team in a hightech fastpaced R&D environment. We develop endtoend support for various applications such as singlecell RNAseq whole genome methylation and germline/somatic variant calling. Our internship program offers reallife handson biotech data analysis experience coaching and mentoring and networking opportunities. How Youll Contribute

• Work in a fastpaced crossfunctional technologically advanced corporate environment in an internship program focused on developing individual engineers capable of pursuing careers in biotech
• Improve your industry knowledge through a collaborative work environment
• Develop bioinformatic analysis packages for NGS applications

Qualifications Skills Knowledge & Abilities

• Currently a student in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Life Science Engineering or Physics
• At least 1 year of programming experience
• At least 1 year of bioinformatics experience
• Plus: experience with python programing and developing in cloud environment
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
• Ability to work onsite work fulltime 40 hours per week) for at least 8 weeks during summer 2025
• Selfmotivated detailoriented willing to learn and interested in working in a team environment
• Great work ethic and an enthusiasm for problemsolving
• Good presentation writing and communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

At Ultima Genomics this internship pays between $30and $36 per hour and your hourly rate will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
