Job Summary:
The claims coordinator supports the needs of the claims team. Ensures the timely and successful delivery of our solution(s) to our team as well as Provider/Member needs as they relate to the claims processes. Improves the entire Claims and Provider/Member experience exceeding expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Answer provider/member claims incoming calls for company.
Manage provider/member data while maintaining compliance with HIPAA.
Ensure appropriate measures are taken to resolve provider/member challenges.
Keep records of client interactions or transactions recording details of inquiries complaints or comments as well as actions taken.
Attend the needs of the provider/member and continually seeking ways to add value to the relationship.
Enter medical claims received from providers into the claims system.
Maintain Claims processing daily quota.
Reprice claims received from providers.
Look up Claims status plan specifications and generate EOBs.
Maintain Claims inbox to support Provider/Member needs.
File electronic and paper documents as needed.
Provide general office support when needed.
Have strict attention to detail in catching errors and inconsistencies in data.

Clerical Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing managing files and records stenography and transcription designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.

Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a fulltime position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week.
