Job Description
This is a repost. Previous applicants need not reapply for this temporary position. The Department of English invites applications for PartTime Instructors for fall 2024. PartTime Instructors are hired on a semesterbysemester basis to teach English courses. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of English. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teach facetoface and/or online FirstYear Composition FYC /Humanities/Creative Writing courses attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include but are not limited to academic advising of students supporting student organizations participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have a Masters degree in English or English Composition at time of application.
Preferred Years Experience Skills Training Education
Candidates with 13 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level and with background in Rhetoric and Composition are preferred.
