Qualifications
Within our AHL division(Appliances HVAC and Lighting) our vision is to enable safe and high performing products to enter the global markets by applying normative requirements and standard.
We are looking for an Engineer (m/f/i)with electronics background to join our team based in NeuIsenburg (Frankfurt) and work on a hybrid bases 3 days onsite required).
Responsibilities
- Independently determines project scope performs product evaluation drafts testplan and define samples requirements by analyzing client request and standards requirements.
- Autonomously determines projects effort and time scheduling.
- Communicates with clients to share scheduling progresses explain UL procedures and requirements discuss technical issues.
- Interacts with laboratory activities by preparing testing documentation and instructions to lab technicians.
- Provides technical assistance to laboratory and/or field staff.
- Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
- Proposes development of new and/or revised UL requirements.
- Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.
- May interact with Global technical leaders for specific product categories or requirements.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Energy Engineering Mechanical Engineering or Electronical Engineering.
- Fluency in German and English we are a European team working with customers all over Europe.
- Basic knowledge of HVACR products from your university studies.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and electrotechnical principles form your university studies.
- Ability to successfully partner with Engineering and other Laboratory Personnel to complete projects in a timely manner with high quality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with international customers and colleagues.
- Availability to travel within Europe to visit our customers units 30 of your time).
