Job Description

Job Summary

The Marketing Implementation Strategist will be responsible for leading the development of projects marketing plans and campaign development while tracking results in support of the retirement segments goals for the annuity portfolio. This position will analyze current state processes and procedures create business cases and databased recommendations and work to implement them. They will also plan create and execute marketing campaigns and content from beginning to end influencing the storytelling and messaging direction for marketing campaigns related to F&Gs annuity portfolio. This position will also serve as an expert marketing consultant for enterprisewide teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with other areas of the market strategy team and sales channels in Retirement segment to understand the current and future state of our product portfolio and overall segment vision. Own creation and communication of the various value propositions that align with our product suite.
  • Implement Marketing recommendations while understanding the sales mindset; report on plan and progress to plan with the sales team to illustrate how Marketing is helping to drive the business forward.
  • Conceptualize annual plans and marketing campaigns through a deep understanding of content strategies across mediums owning the development of marketing plans campaign briefs and postcampaign summaries among others to articulate the overall marketing vision.
  • Connect with various target audiences writing with clarity and knowing how to pivot B2B writing based on audience and alignment with the overall F&G brand.
  • Analyze and create databased recommendations to optimize campaign performance improve processes or implement new products services or tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing materials and potential new strategies with a strong pointofview to recommend optimization and improvement especially with a mind toward technological marketing solutions that can help drive revenue.
  • Sit on crossfunctional teams and liaise with key business partners sharing the marketing story succinctly and knowing how to pivot from executivelevel to peerbased reporting and summarization.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in marketing or related degree.
  • 7 years of experience in marketing preferably B2B.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is highly preferred.
  • Content creation and marketing planning experience including an understanding of brief writing project management tools and campaign planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillslistening writing speaking and visual presentations.
  • Creative and inquisitive thinker.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence at multiple levels within the organization.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Proven content marketing competency and experience partnering with crossfunctional teams.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to write for B2B audiences.
  • Customerfocused mindset and ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
  • Must be detailoriented with proficient organizational skills.
  • A datadriven mindset able to distill insights to inform marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated accountability and experience quickly adapting to change.
  • Possess a creative curious spirit that can keep marketing efforts current and compliant while adjusting for innovative ideas.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; seen as a consultative and collaborative problemsolver of business partner needs.
  • Comfortable in a highenergy environment that values creativity selfmotivation honesty and accountability
