**This is an 18 month contract for maternity leave coverage**

About the role

As a GIS Coordinator you will assist with creating mapping products and demographic materials to support research marketing initiatives and the needs of our national sales and service teams. You will actively contribute towards the GIS / Mapping team to deliver added value and a competitive advantage for our advisors and clients.

  • Perform Spatial Analysis: Use GIS tools such as ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS to uncover patterns trends and relationships within spatial datasets.

  • Communicate Findings: Generate clear accurate visualizations including maps charts and graphs

  • Work in a team environment: Achieve project goals and contributing to a positive and inclusive work culture by sharing knowledge insights and best practices.

  • Apply analytical and problem solving skills: identify GISrelated issues propose effective solutions and implement resolutions.

What you bring

  • Degree and/or diploma: Bachelors degree preferably in Geography GIS or a related field.

  • 03 years of experience: GIS including some proficiency in software including ArcGIS ArcGIS Online QGIS or related tools.

  • Passion for technology:Experience with BI data visualization web sing techniques Python and SQL would be an asset and highly valued.

  • Good communication skills: including followthrough and follow up ability to meet commitments and deadlines Work collaboratively: interact with stakeholders work with a team on various levels.
