Shields experienced rapid growth in the fourth quarter of 2023 which has carried over into 2024 and beyond. We have an immediate opportunityfor one Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our Warehouse Team. This team member will carry out a variety of tasks inclusive of all warehouse functions in a fastpaced and scheduledriven environment.
Essential Duties:
- Deliver finished goods to customer sites via delivery truck.
- Checks material received against vendor invoices orders
- Receives and prepares incoming material for input into inventory.
- Verifies quantity and condition of material.
- Maintains inventory count and resolves discrepancies.
- Delivers material to work centers.
- Compare and verify identifying information (counts weights) against bills of lading invoices orders or other records
- Operate tierlift truck or use hand truck to move convey or hoist shipments from shippingandreceiving platform to storage or work area.
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
Education/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Microsoft Windows and an ERP / MPR computer system.
- Detail orientated with exceptional organizational skills
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify problems develop and evaluate options and recommend solutions
