Who we are
rpc was founded in 2013 as a joint venture between the BMW Group and H&Z Unternehmensberatung AG and is represented in ten countries with over 400 employees.
Your Tasks
- Overseeing and guiding multiple major software projetcs and leading organizationwide technology initiatives
- Measurable impact on revenue project margins & client satisfaction (in collaboration with other senior managers & teams)
- Building and conceptualizing internal and external offerings
- Developing and implementing engineering performance management measures
- Leading and managing a software team (approx.. 816 engineers) disciplinary and professionally
- Responsible for team & people development (incl. goal setting skill & performance management)
- Play an important role in the definition and of the practice growth strategy and shaping the technical vision of the company
- Enabling engineers training and education and continuing to develop the Engineering career track
- Technical management of internal and external stakeholders
- Be an integral part of the Data & Technology Practice management team
Your Profile
- Masters degree in an engineering field
- Background in Web Development and ideally Web Sing Experience
- Profound Experience in Data Engineering and Data Science
- Good understanding of digital product development (agile working methods)
- Versatile and agnostic regarding to tools for software development data analysis and dashboarding
- Profound expertise in Python (preferred) SQL and preferably in other programming/scripting languages
- Knowledge of multiproject management preferably in a consulting environment
- Team leadership experience sensitivity to the individual needs of team members and experience in establishing a performance culture
- Experience working with and leading international technical delivery teams (on near and offshore)
- A good understanding of current trends and technical advancements
- Ability to inspire others through a strong technical foundation and selfsufficient in technical continuous development
- Cando mentality problemsolving team spirit people oriented & wanting to build something longterm
- Ideally based in Munich
- Good German and English language skills
