Job Description
CK Group is recruiting for a Senior Development Chemist, to join a leading adhesives manufacturer, for the marine and construction industry.
The role is based at their site in Romsey, Hampshire.
Working Hours:
08:30 – 16:30, Monday - Friday. This is a permanent role with a salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:
- Formulation of epoxy systems, predominantly for adhesive and composite applications.
- Analysis of experimental results and writing technical service reports.
- Evaluating the suitability of alternative raw materials in existing formulations.
- Testing of mechanical properties.
- Writing technical service reports.
Background:
- A degree, ideally a PhD in a Chemistry or Polymer related subject, with practical experience of epoxy formulation.
- Experience of epoxy systems, polyurethane chemistry exposure or understanding.
- Awareness of ISO9001:2015 quality management system requirements.
