Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Analyst you will play a role in maintaining and promoting a strong cybersecurity culture vital to protecting the confidentiality integrity and availability of the corporate data and assets. Your responsibilities will include evaluating cybersecurity activities and evolving threats to ensure that cybersecurity controls are not only compliant but effective coordinated and relevant. You will join a collaborative team that works closely with stakeholders to analyze the impact of security activities on cyber risk and effectively communicate performance findings and solutions.

Department Overview:

Technology Services is a crucial enabler of The Atlanta Braves success by delivering reliable highperformance technology systems and infrastructure. Cybersecurity works closely with business partners to improve and transform security capabilities and the value of the technology investment portfolio through innovation and an outstanding user experience.

Major responsibilities:

  • Experienced with writing contributing and maintaining cyber policies risk register and framework controls
  • Lead or assist in responding to cybersecurity incidents by investigating root causes containing the threat and ensuring recovery.
  • Monitor analyze and document log data network traffic and/or alerts generated by a variety of security technologies in realtime; respond to investigate and escalate security incidents.
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to identify potential risks.
  • Stay informed of emerging threats vulnerabilities and best practices by engaging with threat intelligence platforms and industry resources.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents risk assessments and security audits for management.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Security Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 13 years of cybersecurity experience
  • Proficiency in security monitoring tools vulnerability scanners firewalls and EDR solutions.
  • Handson experience with network protocols system administration and encryption technologies.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure during security incidents
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively relay technical issues to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Must complete a successful background check

Certifications: ISC2 cert Security CISA GCIH

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Regulatory Compliance and Controls (ex. SOX NIST)
  • Project Management certification or demonstrated competence with financial/budget management reporting and resource management
