In this position several critical responsibilities will be entrusted to you. The role involves fielding calls from the public and county 911 operators regarding emergency and nonemergency police matters gathering key details and prioritizing incidents. You will dispatch information to responding troopers and coordinate with municipal police fire departments ambulance services towing companies and PennDOT as needed. Utilizing systems like the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) Pennsylvania Justice Network (JNET) and the Protection from Abuse Database (PFAD) you will access and maintain records and establish incident details in electronic management systems. Finally you will communicate with troopers and other Police Communications Operators about active incidents or any concerns that arise.
