The Licensing Administrator under the direct supervision of the Licensing Division Manager applies federal and state statutes and rules Agency policies and procedures and critical thinking skills to process license and permit applications forms and requests received by the Board office.
This position is responsible for:
Collaborating with all areas of the Agency to ensure timely and accurate processing review and coordination of licensing applications forms and requests
Communicating with applicants over the phone and in person to address questions related to the application process and regulatory requirements
Preparing and presenting application files to the Board that require additional review and consideration
Participating in ongoing crosstraining policy and procedure review and process improvements
Supporting the Boards telephone call center as it relates to licensingrelated inquiries
Processing and critically reviewing license and permit applications
Issuing licenses and permits
Knowledge:
Willingness eagerness and adeptness to become knowledgeable in state and federal rules regulations and policies and procedures that pertain to pharmacy practice; state and federal laws in relation to healthcare practices (i.e HIPAA CMS OIG etc.; and fundamentals pertaining to pharmacy practice and healthcare compliance
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and GSuite
Skills:
Skilled at developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships in order to coordinate efforts with Board staff Board members Board constituents and various stakeholders
Skilled at collaborating with various areas of government (state and federal agencies) private stakeholders community partners and professional associations
