Job Description
Boone REMC is looking for a Network Administrator.
The Network Administrator at Boone REMC is responsible for the daily administration maintenance and support of the organizations network and cybersecurity systems ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role involves administering network topologies that integrate and segment multiple corporate field and widearea networks maintaining high redundancy and reliability. Additionally the Network Administrator will review logs to identify potential security incidents creates proactive alerts collaborates with contractors and other departments implements and maintains security protocols conducts vulnerability assessments and penetration testing and stays updated with the latest trends and technologies to enhance the organizations security posture.
The successful candidate will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager. Other items may be assigned according to business needs and directives.

Qualifications :
- (a) BA/BS Degree and 1 year of experience; (b) AA/twoyear college program and 5 years of experience; of (c) high school and 10 years of experience.
- Preferred certifications such as Cisco CCNA CCNP or FortiNet NSE 4.
- Proficiency in networking technologies (e.g. LAN/WAN TCP/IP Ethernet).
- Experience (1 years) with Cisco IOS FortiNet FortiOS FortiManager and ISE.
- Experience (1 years) with network hardware including routers switches and firewalls.
- Experience (1 years) with cybersecurity including implementing security measures monitoring for potential threats and responding to security incidents.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with nontechnical users.
- Ability to conduct research for hardware and software issues.
- Requires handson work that includes running cables and terminating ethernet in various indoor and outdoor environments.
