Job Description
About the Role:
Were looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join our IT team!. In this role youll take charge of the design performance availability integrity and security of our Oracle and SQL Server databases. Youll be a key player in maintaining our critically important systems ensuring they run smoothly and securely across multiple product lifecycle environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases from development to production.
- Configure and monitor database servers to ensure high performance and availability.
- Apply data modelling techniques to optimize integration and performance.
- Fix and resolve issues in real time providing endtoend support.
- Automate regular processes track issues and document changes.
- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployments.
- Provide technical mentorship and crosstraining to team members.
- Assist with building and configuring application servers for corporate systems.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
To succeed in this role you should have at least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator with solid skills in Oracle SQL Server MySQL or PostgreSQL. Demonstrating solid attention to detail when analyzing complex data structures with a focus on database security and compliance with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. Experience with cloudbased databases (AWS RDS Azure SQL Database) along with scripting languages like Python or Bash will set you apart. If you hold certifications like Oracle Certified Professional or Azure Database Administrator Associate thats a definite plus.
