Salary range: $85280 $128960 Shift structure: Monday to Friday 7.25 hours per day Primary Location:Edmonton(Hybrid) Secondary Location:Daysland orWetaskiwin Multisite: Yes Union: Exempt FTE:1.0 Status:Permanent About the Role CASA Classrooms are CASAs new model for schoolbased mental health service. The program addresses the need for services closer to students by bridging a childs mental health and school needs through a coordinated approach by a mental health team and a teacher. CASA Classrooms are delivered in partnership with the Government of Alberta community partners and school divisions. This Program Managerpositionspecifically supports CASA Classrooms in Central Alberta.
The Program Manager will:
Work with the Senior Manager of Clinical Operations and the Medical Lead to facilitate the development of a highfunctioning multidisciplinary clinical team.
Lead the delivery of highquality clinical services by providing competency assessment coaching mentoring training and clinical supervision to members of the multidisciplinary team.
Oversee a holistic and highquality model of assessment and treatment planning that is familycentred traumainformed and inclusive of biological psychological social and cultural factors for patients and their families.
Incorporate evidenceinformed best practice models into clinical programming and practice.
Monitor and assess standards of care and adherence to CASA clinical policies procedures and relevant legislation and acts in partnership with the Professional Practice Leads.
Identify and manage required clinical competencies to meet program objectives and outcomes.
Inform and train staff on CASA policy and practice regarding admission discharge data collection and clinical documentation.
Practice according to the code of ethics and practice standards of their specific discipline and support the ethical practices of all disciplines represented on their team.
Liaise with community organizations to enhance partnerships and develop mutual goals when appropriate.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in clinical psychology social work (with psychosocial intervention designation) occupational therapy or nursing.
Current registration in good standing with a professional college identified under the Health Professions Act.
A minimum of five years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions.
A minimum of two years clinical leadership in a mental health setting.
Valid Class 5 drivers license and access to vehicle for travel between CASA Classrooms as required.
Experience in a classroomsbased model is preferred.
Conditions of Employment
A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
