Position Overview:
The Recreation Supervisor School Ageprograms will oversee before and after school programs school day off programs school enrichment activities and select summer camps. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fastpaced environment training and mentoring staff and creating meaningful experiences for childrenin our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop coordinate and evaluate schoolage recreation programsto provide enriching and engaging experiences.
- Supervise and coordinate after school programs at District 109 schools including: before and after school club and after school enrichment programs
- Supervise plan and coordinate school day off programs
- Supervise plan and coordinate select summer day camps as well as before and after camp care
- Hire train and supervise parttime staff and volunteersto ensure program success.
- Manage program logistics budgets and promotionsto maintain efficiency and growth.
- Build strong relationships with school district staff families and community members.
- Supervise plan and coordinate a variety of schoolage recreation programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degreein Recreation Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience in youth programming and staff supervision.
- Strong organizational and communicationskills.
- Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP)preferred.
- Valid drivers licenserequired with the ability to commute to program sites.
- RecTrac experiencea plus.

Scheduling pay and benefits
Recreation Supervisor School AgeProgramsis a fulltime exempt position that may include irregular hours based on businessneeds.
The salary range is $ 6065K dependent upon qualifications and experience.
