Job Description
University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has an opening available for a full-time OB/GYN physician.
Job Specifics:
Employed group comprised of two OB/GYN physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers. Seeking a third physician to meet growing volumes.
Generalist scope of practice includes mix of obstetrics and gynecology
Service supported by 24/7 in house OB hospitalist coverage
Hospital performs 1400 deliveries per year on average; unit includes 14 labor delivery recovery and post-partum rooms
Level II nursey covered by 24/7 pediatric hospitalists
Work/life balance supported by very limited call arrangement
Excellent hospital administration support as well as in office support staff
Elbow to elbow EPIC support
Position eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation support
