Procurement Manager Non-trade

Our client is a topnotch company specialized in the retail industry which is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

1. Build and manage the procurement process:

• Develop and manage the inventory of goods to ensure that purchases meet the correct specifications and quality standards.
  

• Create and implement longterm and shortterm procurement plans for goods and services as well as new project initiatives to meet the companys needs.
  

• Establish product standards and strategic supplier criteria to standardize the infrastructure across the entire system.
  

2. Contract and procurement document Management:

• Manage procurement contracts to ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies.
  

• Monitor and update procurement records including contracts invoices delivery receipts and other related documents.
  

• Ensure the secure storage and confidentiality of procurement records.
  

3. Supplier management and development:

• Identify suppliers and build strong relationships through evaluation negotiation and selection of contractors/partners according to company standards.
  

• Develop a list of stable potential suppliers in various provinces and cities.
  

• Create a risk management plan for onboarding new suppliers.
  

4. Process and system development:

• Develop and improve procurement processes.
  

• Collaborate with the IT department to create applications that optimize purchasing activities and store product pricing information.
  

5. Reporting and analysis:

• Compile procurement data and prepare accurate and timely reports.
  

• Analyze data to provide recommendations for process improvements and effective cost savings.
  

6. Team leadership:

• Encourage and inspire the team to achieve maximum performance.
  

• Build and develop a strong cohesive team.
  

• Set longterm goals and create plans to achieve those objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Construction Economics or Engineering.
  

• At least 4 years of experience in procurement (specifically in the construction sector) including 2 years in a management position.
  

• Experience in opening and expanding new stores or restaurants.
  

• Indepth understanding of domestic purchasing processes supplier management and relevant legal regulations.
  

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  

• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  

• Leadership and team management skills.
  

• Dynamic creative and determined to achieve results.
