Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll maintaining payroll records and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for over 300 staff members using ADP Workforce Now including full cycle and employee management (hire through termination)
- Verify attendance hours worked and pay adjustments.
- Assist with the development administration and maintenance of employee payroll and related finance policy procedures and operations and garnishment processing and compliance.
- Conduct ADP reports tax information 941s and DE4s) and prepare reports as needed for the auditors as needed.
- Reconcile the payroll accounts and benefits.
- Participate in new employee orientation as required.
- Review time sheets work charts wage computation and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- Manage employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate employee data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 35 years experience processing multiple state and multicompany payroll.
- Knowledge of 401k and HSA
- Familiar with Prevailing Wage
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with Deltek Vision software preferred.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of nondiscriminatory factors including education qualifications experience and geographic location. The Salary for this position is $31.00$36.00 per hour.
