Collins is seeking a selfmotivated Structural Project Engineer to be an integral part of our team in Boise Idaho. We are large enough to provide a broad range of experiences but small enough to foster a flexible environment and family atmosphere. This position will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of structural inspection and design projects. The ideal candidate must have an interest in diving and project management; Collins will arrange for and send the candidate to dive school if they do not have this training. Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspection of bridges and waterfront structures.
- Ancillary and sign structure inspections.
- Above and belowwater bridge inspection including routine and fracture critical bridge inspections and reporting bridge rehabilitation design and bridge load ratings.
- Field work required which could include nights and weekends.
- Design of bridges transportation structures earth retention structures and waterfront structures.
- Oil and gas refinery facilities inspections and repair design.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree and/or masters degree in civil engineering from an accredited fouryear university
- Minimum of 35 years experience or the equivalent thereof.
- Experience in the inspection and/or design of but not limited to bridges roadways railroads marinas and/or ports a plus.
- Must have desire to perform underwater bridge inspections and willingness to attend dive school paid for by Collins Engineers
- EngineerInTraining (E.I.T. certification or Professional Engineer (P.E. licensure.
- Valid drivers license

- While in the field the employee may be required to walk in rugged conditions work in adverse weather conditions and stand up to 8 hours or more at a time.
