Job Summary:

RailPros is seeking a Proposal Manager Senior to lead the proposal response process in a fastpaced deadlinedriven and demanding environment. This role requires expertise in developing winning proposals managing multiple pursuits and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead pursuit strategy sessions with business development teams to develop capture plans and winning strategies.
  • Analyze RFQ/Ps upon release and prepare written assessments outlining requirements for successful response efforts.
  • Develop highquality persuasive proposals and presentations for multiple concurrent pursuits ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate key messages and collaborate with graphics teams to deliver impactful visuals.
  • Partner with project managers to prepare technical sections performing editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy.
  • Build update and maintain a library of qualification statements project descriptions and resumes showcasing firm strengths.
  • Mentor proposal managers marketing coordinators and assistants while promoting proposal best practices.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for the Marketing Team to implement best practices.
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews of proposals resumes and project sheets to maintain excellence.
  • Flexible schedule with occasional overtime (evenings and weekends) to meet strict deadlines and ensure topquality deliverables.
  • Adaptable to other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications:

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional proofreading/editing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Positive mindset and proactive attitude in tackling challenges.
  • Ability to multitask prioritize effectively and perform well under tight deadlines in both independent and teamoriented settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic communications tools (email and text).

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing or a related field.
  • 10 years of recent experience in Marketing Business Development Proposals or Graphics departments within an A/E/C firm is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in InDesign Photoshop Microsoft Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Civil Engineering or A/E industry terminology and project delivery methods.
  • Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
