WalkMe is looking for an Application Security Architect to join our Security Team!
In this role you will join the Application Security team working directly with our developers in order to identify application security issues throughout the development lifecycle.
You will assist in design review code reviews and application security testing of our product as well as provide general guidance and training to our developers on secure coding and implementation of various security mechanisms.
What will you actually be doing
Perform design reviews and assist in designing security elements within the product/feature
Perform application penetration tests against our product
Work with developers on remediating discovered security issues and coordinate testing of new features
Provide training and subject matter expertise to the development team
Build tools to automate teams ongoing tasks
What should you bring to the table
Good understanding of web security concepts standards and best practices (e.g. OWASP Top 10 Authentication)
Proven handson experience in application security penetration testing
Familiarity with JavaScript/Node.js code
Ability to work well with others
Ability to communicate clearly in English both written and verbal.
