Core Responsibilities:
- Test diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Complete vehicles inspections thoroughly documenting inspection findings and recommended maintenance or repairs.
- Notify the Service Advisor of additional repairs or services needed providing an estimate of the time required for other repairs so they may communicate vehicle needs to the customer.
- Perform work specified on the repair order per dealership processes.
- Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- 2 years of automotive technician experience demonstrating proficient technical and mechanical knowledge.
- BMW experience and certifications are highly favorable; ASE certifications are a plus!
- Analytical with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong follow up skills.
- Collaborative with a positive attitude to contribute to teamoriented environment.
- Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a preemployment drug screening and background check.
Hours and Work Environment:
Our Service Department is open Monday Friday 7am 6pm and Saturday 8am 5pm. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability during the Service Departments business hours. We offer a 5day workweek to support worklife balance. Our technicians enjoy a positive productive work environment a culture that promotes professional development and collaboration and a stateoftheart airconditioned shop.
