Job Description
Marketing Graphic Designer
Job type: Fulltime remote
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled selfstarting and independent Marketing Material Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. As an extension of the marketing team expertise in graphic design with a strong emphasis on direct mail sales collateral and print materials is a must. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing messaging impactful design and effective layout along with the ability to work with quick turnarounds to support our outreach to commercial printers and direct mail agencies.
You will be responsible for creating highlevel visually compelling marketing materials that drive sales and support business development initiatives. This role requires a strong grasp of design principles such as white space hierarchy and layout as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Production: Create engaging and visually effective marketing materials including postcards direct mailers brochures sell sheets case studies collateral (FAQs information sheets) and other print assets.
- Marketing Collateral: Develop and design impactful sales collateral that aligns with our marketing strategy and supports business development efforts.
- Understanding of Messaging: Use your design expertise to interpret marketing messages and craft designs that communicate the right message to the target audience. You don’t need to be a copywriter but you should understand how design and content work together to create compelling clear and impactful materials.
- Sales Support: Assist in the creation of direct mail pieces for cold outreach to commercial printers and direct mail agencies.
- Independent Work: Work autonomously to meet deadlines and deliver highquality design pieces while collaborating with the small team for feedback and final adjustments.
- Quick Turnaround: Ability to execute design projects quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality. Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing design work. Experience in marketing materials like mailers sales collateral information sheets or brochures is highly desired.
- Expertise in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator InDesign Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of layout design principles and how they apply to marketing and sales materials.
- Ability to translate marketing objectives into clear visually compelling design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- A selfstarter who thrives in a fastpaced independent work environment with a small team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Experience designing for print and familiarity with print production processes.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design including typography color and composition.
- Experience in building marketingdriven digital assets (emails web banners social media graphics).
- Familiarity with working in a business development or salesfocused environment.
- Understanding of marketing concepts and how design impacts audience engagement.
Portfolio/Work Samples Required:
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing their relevant design work including direct mail pieces brochures sell sheets case studies and other marketing collateral.
